Music Loudness (LUFS) Analyzer
Analyze loudness in LUFS, preview a normalized version, and export audio ready for streaming platforms or podcasts.
WAV, AIFF, MP3, or M4A. Up to 15 minutes. Processed 100% in your browser.
Tip: drag a file onto this box or browse to select from your computer.
Loudness target
Choose the platform you’re delivering to. Targets are integrated LUFS.
Target: -14.0 LUFS · True-peak ceiling: -1.0 dBTP
Adjust gain if the normalized true peak would exceed the ceiling. Keeps exports delivery-safe.
Export sample rate
Applies to WAV, MP3, and WebM downloads.
Export bit depth
Bit depth applies to WAV exports.
Share & session
Share links include your settings only — audio never leaves the browser.
Analysis overview
Integrated LUFS, loudness range, and true-peak estimates per BS.1770-style gating.
Upload audio and run the analysis to see integrated loudness, loudness range, and true peak.
Preview & waveform
A/B the original and normalized mix. Playback uses a temporary WAV that stays local to this tab.
Run the analysis to hear the before/after preview.
Exports
Download the corrected audio in lossless WAV or shareable WebM (Opus) using your chosen sample rate & bit depth.
All exports use your chosen sample rate. WAV uses PCM 24-bit, MP3 is encoded at 192 kbps, and WebM uses Opus at 160 kbps.

FAQs
- Which loudness targets are included?Pick from YouTube/streaming (−14 LUFS), Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon, SoundCloud, podcast (−16 LUFS), audiobook (−18 LUFS), broadcast (−23 LUFS), or set a custom target.
- Can I preview before I download?Yes. After analysis you can A/B the original and normalized audio right in the browser before exporting.
- Do you store my audio? No. The entire LUFS analysis and normalization happen locally in your browser, and share links only include your settings.
- What formats can I export?Export lossless WAV in 16-bit or 24-bit PCM at 44.1 or 48 kHz, grab an MP3 (192 kbps), or download an Opus WebM (160 kbps) for quick sharing.
- How accurate is the measurement? The tool follows a BS.1770-style approach with gating and true-peak estimation. For critical mastering you can still cross-check in your DAW.
- What are the limits?Upload up to ~15 minutes (around 100 MB). Longer sessions take longer to render, especially on mobile.
