Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2025‑11‑03
We build ClickyApps with a privacy‑first approach. Most tools are designed to process your data locally in your browser. You can use the majority of features without creating an account.
What we process
For tools such as transcript cleaners, thumbnail helpers, and generators, inputs are handled client‑side by default. When a tool offers a share link, the state is encoded directly in the URL so you can revisit or share your results. Please avoid including sensitive information in shareable URLs.
Storage and retention
We do not store the content you paste or upload for client‑side tools on our servers. Web server logs may include standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and reliability and are retained for a limited period.
Subscriptions and credits
For paid AI tools, we maintain minimal account data (e.g., user ID, subscription status, credit balance, and non‑sensitive billing metadata). We use these records to provide your entitlements, enforce rate limits, and support refunds during outage windows.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage and improve quality. Analytics may set cookies or use similar technologies. Where applicable, we honor your browser’s Do Not Track setting and obtain consent for analytics/ads per regional requirements.
Advertising
We may show lightweight advertising on some pages. Advertising providers can set cookies and collect usage information to measure performance and prevent fraud. You can opt out where supported via consent prompts.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with service providers who help us operate the site under appropriate agreements, including:
- Payment processing: Stripe processes subscriptions, top‑ups, and invoices. We do not store your card details.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 receives pseudonymous usage events to help improve reliability and usability. We avoid sending PII; user IDs may be used.
Rate limits and outages
We enforce per‑user limits (up to 6 runs/min and 100 runs/day) to protect reliability. If we mark an outage window, successful runs are automatically refunded as credits.
Your choices
- Use tools without logging in for basic functionality.
- Clear inputs and outputs before leaving a page if using a shared device.
- Use browsers or extensions that block third‑party cookies if desired.
