- Do you upload my files?No. Editing happens entirely in your browser.
- What file formats are supported?Import SRT; export SRT and VTT. UTF‑8 encoding recommended.
- How do overlap fixes work?Click “Detect & fix overlaps” to review suggested nudges or merges before applying them.
- Can I jump to a specific timestamp?Use the Go to time field (HH:MM:SS,mmm) or press ⌘/Ctrl + G to highlight the nearest cue.
- Keyboard shortcuts?Open the Shortcuts panel (⌘/Ctrl + /) for the full list. Highlights include ⌘/Ctrl + ⌥/Alt + ←/→ to nudge cues and ⌘/Ctrl + S to export.
- What does "Merge close cues" do?Combines cues with gaps ≤200ms between them. Respects industry standards: max 84 characters, 7 seconds duration, and 20 characters-per-second reading speed.
- What does "Split long cues" do?Splits cues >84 characters at sentence boundaries. Timing is proportional to text length with 1-second minimum per part.
